Privacy Policy

1. Information we may process

When an authorized account owner connects a supported platform, JonTheFinds Automation may process information needed to perform requested actions, such as platform account identifiers, channel/profile information, OAuth authorization tokens, video or post metadata, upload status, and performance metrics made available by the platform.

2. How information is used

Information is used only to operate JonTheFinds content workflows, including authenticating authorized accounts, preparing approved content, uploading or publishing content where permitted, monitoring upload status, and analyzing content performance.

3. OAuth credentials and tokens

Current local verification tools store OAuth credentials and tokens on the authorized operator's local computer. The public JonTheFinds website does not ask visitors to submit platform passwords or OAuth secrets. Tokens and credentials are not intentionally exposed in public source code or public web pages.

4. Sharing of information

JonTheFinds does not sell personal information. Information may be transmitted to platform providers such as Google/YouTube, TikTok, or Meta only as necessary to use their official APIs and services, subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies.

5. Data retention and removal

Operational data is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the content workflow, troubleshooting, recordkeeping, or platform requirements. Authorized account owners may revoke platform access through the relevant platform's account/security settings. Locally stored tokens may also be deleted from the operator's device.

6. Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect credentials and workflow data, including keeping secrets outside public repositories and using official authorization mechanisms where available. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Children's privacy

JonTheFinds services and automation tools are not directed to children under the age required to independently consent to online services in their jurisdiction.

8. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as the JonTheFinds platform evolves or as platform requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
